You Care for Others. Let Us Help Care for You.
Caring for an aging parent, spouse, family member, friend, or neighbor is one of life’s greatest acts of love—but it can also be emotionally, physically, and spiritually demanding. You don’t have to navigate the journey alone.
Sholom, Beth Jacob Congregation, and Family Caregiver Support Services invite you to attend one of two introductory caregiver support sessions designed to provide encouragement, connection, and practical support for those caring for older adults.
These facilitated gatherings are open to anyone who provides care, assistance, advocacy, or companionship to an older adult. Whether you’re helping with day-to-day tasks, coordinating care, making important decisions, or simply supporting someone you love, you’ll find a welcoming space to share experiences, learn from others, and build meaningful connections.
The sessions will be facilitated by Rabbi Rebecca Kamil, a board-certified chaplain whose work centers on providing emotional and spiritual support for caregivers of older adults. Through guided conversation and shared experiences, participants will explore common caregiving challenges while helping shape the future direction and meeting schedule of an ongoing caregiver support group.
At Sholom, we believe caregivers deserve care, too. We are honored to partner with Beth Jacob Congregation to create a supportive community where caregivers can find strength, encouragement, and hope.
