At Sholom, we believe that leadership rooted in compassion, vision, and dedication can shape the future of senior care—and few have embodied that belief more fully than our Chief Operating Officer, Ann Thole. After more than a decade of extraordinary service, Ann is transitioning from her role, and we invite our community to join us in offering heartfelt gratitude and well wishes as she begins her next chapter.

Ann’s tenure at Sholom has been marked by steady guidance, strategic growth, and a deep commitment to those we serve. From advancing operational excellence across our campuses to navigating the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ann’s leadership has had a profound and lasting impact. She has also been a trusted voice for senior care statewide through her work with LeadingAge Minnesota.

Reflecting on her time at Sholom, Ann shared:

“Over the past 11 years at Sholom, I have had the privilege of contributing to an organization deeply rooted in compassion, dignity, and community. During this time, I’ve helped lead strategic initiatives, navigated unprecedented challenges—including the COVID-19 pandemic—and collaborated with exceptional colleagues to advance Sholom’s mission of supporting adults across the continuum of care. My focus has always been on driving quality outcomes, operational excellence, and innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. I take pride in having played a role in strengthening Sholom’s legacy while championing a culture of accountability, inclusion, and service. As I move forward into the next chapter of my career, I carry with me immense gratitude for the people, purpose, and partnerships that have defined my time at Sholom.” – Ann Thole, Chief Operating Officer

Ann leaves behind a legacy of excellence, and while her presence will be deeply missed, we are excited to introduce Andrea Horvath as Interim Chief Operating Officer.

Andrea, who currently serves as the Ackerberg Family Sholom West Campus Administrator, has been part of the Sholom family since 2009. She began her career here as an occupational therapist, delivering hands-on care to residents. Over the years, Andrea’s dedication and leadership have seen her grow into key administrative roles, including the past five years as Campus Administrator.

Her journey reflects the spirit of growth, service, and community that defines Sholom. Andrea brings with her a deep understanding of our mission, a collaborative leadership style, and a heartfelt commitment to ensuring that Sholom continues to thrive.

As we navigate this leadership transition, we do so with confidence in Andrea’s steady hand and vision for the future.

Please join us in thanking Ann for her tremendous contributions and in welcoming Andrea as she steps into this important role. The future at Sholom remains bright, guided by those who continue to lead with heart, integrity, and purpose.
