September Updates 2020

Dear Sholom residents, tenants, staff and families,

Our St. Louis Park Ackerberg Family Sholom West campus remains under quarantine due to COVID-19 exposure per Minnesota Department of Health guidelines.  Our St. Paul Shaller Family Sholom East campus has resumed essential caregiver visits, window and outdoor visits, communal dining and small group activities.

At our St. Louis Park location, Sholom Home West has two staff members and one resident with active, positive COVID-19.  Roitenberg Family Assisted Living and Hodroff Pavilion for Memory Care has one asymptomatic staff member test positive for COVID-19 that is quarantining at home.  Knollwood Place Apartments has two residents and two staff with active, positive COVID-19. Menorah West and Menorah Plaza have no active COVID-19 resident or staff cases.

Our Shaller Family Sholom East Campus in St. Paul has no confirmed COVID-19 residents or staff at Chapman Sholom Home East, Weinberg Apartments, Bentson Assisted Living and Phillips Center for Memory Care.

Our homecare and hospice team has no confirmed COVID-19 clients or staff.

All Sholom’s staff and residents at our assisted living, memory care and skilled care locations have undergone multiple rounds of testing for COVID-19.  Sholom’s various locations have been and continue to be included in additional testing as determined by our clinical teams and MDH.

Our priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy. Because of the high risk to our residents, MDH continues to recommend anyone over 70 years old to continue isolating at home, wearing masks and practice physical distancing as much as possible.

We know these past few months have been especially challenging for you and your loved ones.  If you have concerns, please let a team member know so we can connect you to one of us, spiritual care, your family, or whomever you’d like to speak with.

We’ll continue to update you and your loved ones throughout this process.

With warmest regard for your health, safety and well-being. Thank you.
