Dear Residents, Tenants and Families of the Ackerberg Campus,
Challenging times can bring changes. Certainly, we have seen many changes across the globe, most significantly in senior care. Many individuals during this unusual time are also making personal changes as well. This is certainly true for Chuck Heidbrink, the Ackerberg Campus Administrator, as he has recently shared with me his decision to enter the next phase in his journey through life. The pandemic has weighed heavily in his decision and as a devoted family man and very proud grandpa, Chuck is choosing to devote his time to his family. We wish Chuck all the best and are thankful for his leadership during his time at Sholom and his many years dedicated to senior services.
We understand that this important role at Sholom is more critical now than ever and we are pleased to announce that Andrea Horvath OT, a long-time Sholom employee as Corporate Director of Rehabilitation, has accepted the responsibility of interim Campus Administrator. She will be transitioning her responsibilities and training with Chuck in this role in mid-June.
Change can be difficult but it can also create new opportunities. We are fortunate to have a great team and staff that are excited to expand their roles and responsibilities during this unprecedented time.
If you have questions, please be sure to first contact either your housing director or campus administrator as appropriate. For your convenience, I have listed their contact information below.
