Executive Management

Sholom's Executive Management Team consists of Senior Management and the Administrators of each entity within Sholom. The Executive Management Team relies on the Board of Directors for guidance and support in the everyday operations of Sholom.

Barbara Klick

Chief Executive Officer

Barbara Klick was appointed CEO of Sholom on July 1, 2016. 

A highly motivated healthcare professional, Ms. Klick most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for Fairview Physicians Associates managing a network of over 2500 physicians.  In addition to her experience in operations, Barbara has been actively involved in strategic planning, competitive marketing strategies, and developing community relationships. She brings a wealth of experiences having worked in the non-profit, for profit, and government health care arenas.

Barbara holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, as well as maintaining her licensure as a registered nurse.

David Berryman

Chief Financial Officer

David R. Berryman joined Sholom in March 2016 and has over thirty years of broad-based financial experience. 

After beginning his career in public accounting with KPMG LLP, he served in a variety of leadership positions with publicly traded companies based in Minneapolis. Prior to joining Sholom, Mr. Berryman served as a Vice President and Controller of a $5.2 billion segment of UnitedHealth Group. He has also held financial leadership roles at Ceridian Corporation, Fair Isaac Corporation and International Multifoods Corporation. 

He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.  Mr. Berryman is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Ann Thole

Chief Operating Officer

Ann has more than 20 years of experience working in the field of senior services with an emphasis on resident driven care and fiscal management as a social worker, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and a housing leader in both the for-profit and not-for-profit settings.  Ms. Thole has successfully achieved outcomes to meet financial and operational performance needs.

Prior to coming to Sholom, Ms. Thole worked locally with similar organizations where she was responsible for the operational success of skilled nursing and housing both independent settings and housing with services.  Ms. Thole has directed and supported long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities, meeting corporate objectives for compliance, EBITDA, employee relations, utilization, accounts receivable, expenses, quality improvement, and census.

Andrea Krebs

Shaller Family Sholom East Campus Administrator

Andrea has served in the senior care industry for eight years and has worked in both senior housing and long term care administration.  Andrea’s most recent experience included oversight of a 120 unit specialized care center.  Andrea re-vamped a variety of programs and services to better serve and engage the resident population.

Andrea received her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and is involved in Leading Age MN on a variety of leadership committees.

Chuck Heidbrink

Ackerberg Family Sholom West Campus Administrator

Chuck is a very seasoned professional who brings with him a wealth of experience in management and leadership within the field of Senior Services. He has been consulting for the past three years and has come to realize how much he misses being part of an operational team. Chuck has not only operational experience, but also, more importantly, he has had a successful career in mentoring, coaching and assisting teams to successfully achieve their goals.

When Chuck is not busy serving seniors and working with operational teams, he enjoys long walks in Stillwater (home), spending time with family, golfing, wine, and attending Twins and Timberwolves games.
