The COVID-19 pandemic has brought change and disruptions to the lives of everyone around the world. At Sholom, we are working diligently to put appropriate protocols and procedures in place to keep residents, tenants and staff as safe as possible.

As Sholom's clinical team navigates the evolving regulatory guidelines throughout this pandemic, we thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work diligently to develop measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.

Beginning August 10th, we will slowly allow approved essential caregivers into the buildings for their planned visits.  This is subject to change if an active case of COVID-19 is confirmed at Sholom. 

Sholom Home West essential caregivers suspended at this time per Minnesota Department of Health guidelines due to staff with COVID-19. 

Step 1: Review Essential Caregiver Process and FAQs to determine if your request meets the guidelines.  

Step 2: To designate or become an Essential Caregiver, please complete Essential Caregiver Form  and email to the appropriate contact below.

Step 3: Review instructional videos below.

Step 4:  Approved designated caregiver will be contacted for additional information and to arrange for a time for training before the caregiver will be allowed to enter the building and provide services.

To schedule a window or outdoor visit, please note the following:

  • All visits must be scheduled in advance. Drop in visits cannot be accommodated at this time.
  • Print, sign and bring to visit the Outdoor Visitation Agreement
  • Due to the demand, visits will be limited to 20 minutes.

Beginning August 17, 2020, the Feinberg Vitality and Aquatics Center will re-open  observing COVID-19 safety protocols including limited hours and capacity, appointment only scheduling and more. Read more
